We want your views on the future of St Kilda

The Trust is now starting work on the next five-year plan for St Kilda and would like to know what communities and stakeholders think.

St Kilda is a unique and special place. The spectacular scenery and wildlife, the archipelago’s remoteness, and the evidence of the people that made these islands their home, all make St Kilda truly exceptional. It is no wonder that it has been designated a World Heritage Site for both its cultural and natural attributes.

The National Trust for Scotland has owned St Kilda since 1957 and cares for both the wildlife and habitats as well as the buildings and archaeology. It is now starting work on the next five year plan for St Kilda and would like to know what communities and stakeholders think. The comments from this survey will be summarised, so that those talking about the future of St Kilda at two workshops being held in January will know what you think.
