This short natural history film explores the challenges and dangers that new heron chicks confront in their fight for survival to fledge from their nest.

Situated on the spectacular North-West coast of the Scottish Highlands, the National Trust for Scotland's Inverewe Estate & Gardens is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful gardens to visit in Scotland surrounded by an extensive estate managed for conservation.
