Additional Information

Kintail

Cuckoos are "brood parasites"- they lay their eggs in the nests of other bird species, which are then fooled into incubating and rearing the young Cuckoo.

This footage shows a young Cuckoo being fed by its host parents, a pair of Meadow Pipits, which must work tirelessly to feed their massive adopted offspring.
