Although the majority of Members' Centre & Friends' Groups are independent of the Trust and registered charities in their own right, the Members' Centre Support Officer acts as a liasion between the groups and the Trust's HQ in Edinburgh, providing a variety of help and support.

This section provides information and resources to help the groups in their continued work to support the Trust.

From the tab on the left you can download a Committee Member welcome, which provides more information on the Members' Centre & Friends' Group network and the support available to committees.

You can also download the most up-to-date Shopping List, which is a wish list of funding opportunities compiled from property and departmental requests. Many items will enhance the visitor experience at properties and in some cases complete a project which will benefit the property and local community.

Finally you can view the Speakers List; a collection of Trust staff and volunteers who are willing to come and speak to your group about anything from their unpredictable jobs managing some of Scotland’s oldest castles to the secrets recently uncovered at the bottom of one of the Trusts many gardens.
