Support Scotland's heritage by giving now to the National Trust for Scotland

We’re called the Brodick Young Naturalist Club (YNC). We’re a children’s nature club, led by NTS rangers and volunteers.
The club is open to all children aged 6 – 11 years old, who are interested in the environment.
We’re based at Brodick Castle and Country Park. The club meets at the Ranger Centre in the park.
The club meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month, from 10.30am – 12.15pm. (Come with waterproofs and be prepared to get muddy!).
If you’re keen (for instance) on rooting around in the undergrowth for minibeasts, building yourself a beavers’ lodge or discovering how sundew plants eat flies, then this is the club for you!

Other activities include: Pond Dipping; Rock Pooling; Survival Skills; Tracks & Trails; Finding Out (about particular animals or birds).

There is a small charge for each session to cover costs.

Brodick Castle has large gardens and an estate with woodland, grassland, ponds and seashore. The castle and country park are situated on the Isle of Arran.
