The Battle of Bannockburn in June 1314 was one of the most important battles in Scottish history. King Robert the Bruce gathered his men to oppose the English army of King Edward II. The world-class Battle of Bannockburn experience opened in 2014 to mark the 700th anniversary of this historic battle. Just 2 miles south of Stirling and within easy reach of Edinburgh and Glasgow, this state-of-the-art attraction is ideally situated for incentive travel programmes and can also be hired exclusively for evening corporate and private events.

Innovative, authentic and highly memorable, a visit typically includes an introductory talk, a weapon-handling session and a 'mini combat' demonstration with a battlefield expert. This will be followed by an interactive 3D experience in which medieval warfare is brought to life through cutting-edge technology. Guests can then head into battle on a virtual battlefield, taking command of the knights and soldiers who fought in 1314. Up to 30 players at any one time can pit their wits against each other under the guidance of the battle master.

No visit to Bannockburn would be complete without a stroll over the historic landscape to the iconic Robert the Bruce statue, cast in shimmering bronze and offering views towards Stirling Castle. A variety of outdoor team-building activities, including battle re-enactments and falconry, can also be arranged within the courtyard and surrounding grounds.

Why not combine a visit with lunch in our 60-seat café or enjoy an exclusive evening experience with a drinks reception, canapés and dinner?
