Help us save the Hill House
The Hill House is an internationally recognized masterpiece of early modern architecture. Under the care of the National Trust for Scotland, the property remains a remarkably complete example of Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s unique vision. Architecture, interiors, and decorative arts are fully integrated, revealing a striking mix of Arts & Crafts, Art Nouveau, Scottish Baronial, and Japanese influences.
Without immediate intervention to prevent further water ingress and allow space and time for the house to dry prior to conservation research and treatment, we risk losing this irreplaceable treasure and its one-of-a-kind interiors.
