Can you help us care for Scotland's heritage by standing at the next trustee elections?
As a member, your support is vital in the work we do to conserve Scotland's national treasures for the future.
But you could do more. This October, we'll be holding elections for three trustees who will sit on our board. The trustees are ultimately responsible for the governance of the Trust's activities and the achievement of its strategic objective to conserve Scotland's unique heritage.
Our trustees are drawn from a wide range of backgrounds as it is important that our board reflects the diversity of the Trust's activities. Ideally candidates will bring relevant experience of working with other boards and committees. In addition, experience of environmental matters, collections or law may be beneficial. The terms of office of three of our current trustees are coming to an end. Those trustees are eligible to stand for election again for one more term.
Members of the Trust of at least two years' standing are invited to stand for election. If you have the time and the passion to help us take our next steps, please do get in touch. Trustees are not paid, but expenses are reimbursed.
The deadline for applications is Thursday 17th April 2014 (by post) or by 5pm on Friday 18th April 2014 by email.
