Trustee Elections

This summer, you have the chance to vote on the future of the National Trust for Scotland.

It’s Trustee election time, and that means you have the opportunity choose four people who will represent you on our Board to help govern the Trust and consider the choices we have to make if we are to remain vibrant, sustainable and relevant as a conservation charity.

You can read about each of the 14 individuals who have put themselves forward to become Trustees in a special booklet that you’ll find inserted in the summer issue of Scotland in Trust magazine. Alternatively, an electronic version of the booklet can be downloaded from here.

As a charity, the Trust relies on its members to help it carry out its vital work in safeguarding Scotland’s built and natural heritage for generations to come. As part of this, a dedicated Board of Trustees drawn from all walks of life sets the strategic direction of the Trust and represents the membership.

The majority of the Trustees are directly elected by members – and that’s why you need to help decide who they should be. So, please use the information provided in the booklet to find out more about each of the 14 candidates. There are four places available on the Board, and there are several different ways in which you can vote for your choice of candidates:
