One of Scotland best loved singers and broadcasters, Jamie balances a busy life between his solo singing career, his work with Caledon (Scotland's Three Tenors) and being BBC Radio Scotland's voice of classical music. His singing career has taken Jamie all over the world to perform with top names in opera while his repertoire of Scottish and Burns songs make him a real all rounder for our cruise entertainment team.
Alastair is one of Scotland's favourite personalities and is a highly talented international performer, singer, song writer, recording artiste and broadcaster. His special blend of music and song ranges from traditional Scottish to jazz and will add a real mix to the cruise entertainment programme.
Sheena Wellington is one of the country’s most iconic and celebrated singers. Her traditional style, clarity of voice and amazing repertoire which covers everything from Burns to Ballads and contemporary to traditional has taken her career in Scottish song all over the world. Her list of honours in music are endless and in 2009 she was recognised in the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame joining Sir Jimmy Shand, Aly Bain and the Corries.
A former Scottish fiddle champion from Aberdeenshire, today Claire is much in demand as a solo player of both Scottish fiddle music and classical violin. She is a member of the orchestra of The Royal Opera House in Covent Garden and The London Chamber Orchestra. When not playing, she teaches at the renowned Yehudi Menuhin Music School in Surrey.
Wayne is a former Scottish champion accordionist. Playing from the age of ten years old, Wayne is now much in demand as a soloist and with his own Scottish Dance band. His style is truly international with a mix of Scottish, jazz, continental and classical.
The Trio features Rhona MacKay on harp and clarsach, Eddie McGuire on flute and Sonia Cromarty on cello. Rhona is one of Scotland's most versatile harpists and former principal harpist of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. Sonia graduated from RSAMD with first class honours and performs with Scotland's leading orchestras including the BBC Scottish Symphony and Scottish Opera. Eddie is a much celebrated composer who also performs with and writes for The Whistlebinkies. Together they create a spell-binding, beautiful blend of music.
Our cruise piper Jim Butler will be on duty all week, bringing the sounds of Scotland to our ports of call as well as joining the entertainment team in various evening shows. Cruise Entertainment Manager, Robert Lovie will be hosting the entire entertainment programme, as well as sharing with us his popular repertoire.

The team take part in a wonderful range of evening performances: from solo concerts to scenic outdoor ceilidh nights on deck, and from classical recitals to traditional Scottish and Gaelic singing. As ever, we have some of Scotland's top names in entertainment and award-winning musicians, for our aim is to provide a top quality mix to suit all tastes on board.
