The Communications Department is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to assist in a small, busy team, with responsibility for managing and updating the organisation’s social media presence. This includes using current channels such as Facebook, Twitter, FourSquare and YouTube to develop greater communication between the Trust and its social media audience.

Castle Fraser (at Sauchen, near Inverurie) is one of the grandest Castles of Mar; completed in 1636, it was a statement of pride and a show of strength for the Fraser family. From the evocative Great Hall to the Victorian kitchens, the castle is filled with fine furniture, paintings and quirky features. The grounds contain a recently reinstated 18th century walled garden, as well as extensive woodland walks with fine views of the castle.
The property hosts many events throughout the year, and we are looking for an Events Assistant to help with their organisation and delivery. This stunning venue is the backdrop for events including the Castle Fraser Jousting Weekend in July, as well as our Cadbury Easter Trail and events at Halloween and Christmas.
