Corporate Challenge with the National Trust for Scotland offers you and your company the chance to help enhance team morale and contribute to the world in which we live, in some of Scotland’s most beautiful and dramatic locations.
Your company can take part in conservation projects on a number of properties throughout Scotland, ranging from a one day project to a week-long residential challenge. Facilitated by our expert property staff and Trust challenge leaders, you can be involved in work such as:
- Upland footpath repair
- Woodland management
- Archeological surveys
- Adventure playgrounds
- Environmental art
- Garden projects
- Paths For All – creating all-access paths
By taking part in a Corporate Challenge your company can demonstrate its commitment to Corporate Responsibility issues by your association with Scotland’s leading conservation charity, and by being involved in work that has a positive and direct impact on the environment.
We encourage an active employee and team development programme, which could take into account learning styles, team roles, leadership and problem solving. We also give guidance on how this can be transferred to the workplace when you get back.
There are also opportunities for future involvement with the Trust, including sponsorship of our valuable Community Partnerships programme, or even joint ventures to enable you to work together with your local community.
Challenges take part all year round and teams are normally made up of around 10–15 people, although larger or smaller groups can be
accommodated. Catering can be arranged on request by the Trust and accommodation can be provided in some of our comfortable and unique properties. Prices vary depending on the location and numbers attending.
