Description
Brodick Castle garden, nestling on the slopes of Brodick Bay on the island's east coast, contains a delightful woodland garden merging into the wider landscape policies leading to Goatfell and includes: steep grassy banks below the castle; an ornamentally-planted Victorian walled garden; Bavarian summer house; and an extensive collection of rhododendrons including the national collections of Falconera, Grandia, and Meddenia. An exciting project is underway to revitalise the woodland and shelterbelts damaged by storms to ensure the ongoing survival of this famous west of Scotland garden.

The focus of this post is on managing the propagation (and associated) areas effectively on a day-to-day basis to support the maintenance and enhancement of Brodick Castle's important plant collection and its plant sales, while also undertaking practical maintenance of the garden as part of the wider garden team.

Accommodation may be available.
