Description
This role is responsible for the conservation projects and programmes throughout the Trust and for leading professionals working across a range of conservation disciplines. The post holder is also required to represent the Trust and influence a wide range of external stakeholders. The role's purpose is therefore to ensure all Trust properties are managed consistently and professionally and to the required standard of conservation care, customer experience and financial performance.

In many respects this role lies at the heart of the Trust as it is responsible for the conservation projects and programmes throughout the entire organisation and for leading a very talented group of professionals working across a range of conservation disciplines. This role requires someone who can quickly establish their credibility both internally and externally, as the Director will also be required to represent the Trust and influence a wide range of stakeholders. It is a role that requires professional rigour and a commitment to high quality standards together with excellent leadership skills.
