Description
Based in Edinburgh and reporting to the Director of Commercial Services, Marketing and Development, you will support the Leadership Team in the development and implementation of the Trust's fundraising strategy, predominantly in the UK and will provide guidance, direction and development to a multi-disciplined team of fundraising professionals to ensure income generation for the Trust is maximised.

The candidates we hope to attract will have the following attributes and experience;

-Strong inspirational leadership qualities

-Innovative and creative with a forward thinking approach

-Excellent interpersonal, people-management, networking and presentation skills with the ability to motivate and enthuse others

-Persuasive negotiator

-Sound knowledge of fundraising specialisms within Major Gifts, Corporate, Legacies, Trusts & Foundations and with experience or an appreciation of Mass Market techniques

-Demonstrable experience in developing, supporting and managing other fundraising professionals

-Financially aware with strong budgetary management skills

-Knowledge of tax efficient giving methods in both the UK and the USA

-Knowledge of the Institute of Fundraising Codes of Practice
