We’re
always very grateful to receive gifts left to us in wills –
we depend upon legacies for the upkeep of our properties, as every
year substantial expenses have to be met due to the sheer size
and depth of the Trust’s remit.
If you have decided you want to leave a legacy to protect your memories of Scotland, please make sure that you use our full title - The National Trust for Scotland. By doing this, you will ensure that your legacy goes where you intend it to go. This charity is quite separate from The National Trust, which protects only the heritage of England, Wales and Northern Ireland. You can find out more about The National Trust at www.nationaltrust.org.uk.
So, if you have already left us a gift,
or are thinking of doing so , please check your will or make it
clear to your solicitor that you mean the National Trust for Scotland. |
