It's not just older people who think about leaving the Trust a donation. A young visitor wrote to tell us about spending his summer holidays as part of a Trust Work Party on St Kilda, a World Heritage Site. As he told us, it was a very different holiday experience from his previous breaks. For a start, it was very hard work repairing the damage of the winter and restoring a little more of the 19th century settlement. To him, St Kilda, with its massive sea bird colonies and wild dramatic beauty, is a paradise archipelago. He is only in his thirties, but he has already included a donation in his will to the National Trust for Scotland to protect this magical place.
