A National
Trust for Scotland member for over 30 years is leaving a donation
to us in her will because Culzean awakened her enthusiasm for
Scotland’s heritage and she wants to ensure that it will
be there to do the same for future generations. She told us that
trips to Culzean were a wonderful part of her childhood, where
she played in the follies, secret wood and among the rocks on
the beach. `Exciting’, is how she sums up her first sight
of the castle’s oval staircase with its dazzling tiers of
pillars. She hopes her legacy will give children for years to
come that same excitement and appreciation of all that is best
about Scotland. |
