The National Trust for Scotland in London The National Trust for Scotland has over 6,000 members in London and the South of England. To engage with this substantial and dynamic group, and to grow our membership and support in the region, the Trust’s London Committee arranges a series of exclusive events throughout the year.
Annual events include:
Reels Dance and Burns Suppers in January
Summer Drinks at Dover House in June, with a balcony view of Beating Retreat
Annual Autumn Lecture with guest speaker
These events are an opportunity to meet other members and supporters of the National Trust for Scotland, who back the conservation and promotion of Scotland’s heritage. The social and celebratory nature of the events are complemented by the opportunity to learn more about history and heritage through talks and discussions; past speakers include Alexander McCall Smith (London Lecture 2015).
Our London based events also complement the activity of the Patron’s Club, and The Wemyss Circle. Special and bespoke events are also organised as and when the opportunity or need arises.
