Donate to the Footpath Fund
Donors will soon receive this year's edition of Footprints, our annual newsletter about how the Footpath Fund is spent repairing the scar on our mountains.
£36 will repair one metre of path and fight erosion - will you help us in our uphill battle?
The National Trust for Scotland is a charity set up in 1931 for the preservation and conservation of the heritage important to Scotland and beyond. If you want to see these landscapes, properties and treasures secured for future generations, then your donation is a tangible way to help.
As a charity The National Trust for Scotland relies on our circa 7,000 donors to keep our properties in order and open to the public. Together, our donors make up a crucial part of the vital conservation force that is The National Trust for Scotland.
What to Give?Every donation makes a difference to protecting Scotland's heritage. A regular gift - monthly or quarterly - is an affordable option and helps NTS continue to plan its work into the future. Your gift can be allocated to an appeal of your choice or to the general fund, enabling us to carry out essential projects and offer vital support to our properties when they need it most.
You can set up a regular gift by downloading a regular gift form or by calling us on 0844 493 2100.We want our donors to be truly engaged in the work of the Trust and have established The Wemyss Circle for donors who wish to give £1,000 or more annually to the Trust. These donors will be offered the opportunity to join workshops, briefings and social events all designed to keep you up to date with progress at the Trust. Your annual donation can be for Special Projects or a general gift. The Patron's Club is a group of donors who have done something very special for the Trust through donations of £5,000 or more annually. These donors meet at special events in Scotland, London, USA and Canada and organise special visits to the Trust's properties seeking to expand their knowledge about heritage and conservation in Scotland and beyond through workshops and briefings.
Legacies and gifts of shares and stocks are also greatly welcomed by the Trust and in all cases we seek to handle gifts with the greatest tax efficiency.
Sponsorship of our activities either on a personal or Corporate Engagement level plays an important part of our work to raise funds and profile. It is worth considering that with over 300,000 individual members and tailored activities you could join us in a partnership for mutual benefit.
