Family fun at Trust properties

The Trust is running a selection of fantastic events from 31 May to 6 June as part of National Family Week , the UK's biggest annual celebration of family life, highlighting the importance of quality time together and promoting the benefits of a healthy, active lifestyle.

The kids can 'Dig it!' at Brodick's junior archaeology workshop or witness Living History at Kellie Castle. Or why not enjoy some family fun outdoors with a Seaside Safari at St Abb's Head or a fascinating Landrover Safari exploring historic Glencoe.

Get closer to nature

2010 has been declared the International Year of Biodiversity (IYB) by the United Nations - the year that celebrates the diversity of life on Earth, including every plant, animal and micro-organism. In the UK, IYB has over 200 partners ranging from universities, media organisations and museums to theatre companies and artists, and, of course, the National Trust for Scotland.

Throughout the year, we'll be presenting our usual, varied range of events that celebrate and promote nature and the environment, all as part of our contribution to IYB. For more information on the International Year of Biodiversity, visit www.biodiversityislife.net

There's something for all the family to enjoy with a visit to the interactive Culloden Visitor Centre or a tour of the Robert Burns Heritage Park. Experience past times with our living history experiences at a variety of properties.
