The kids will love becoming detectives at Newhailes and the Mad Hatter's Tea Party at Haddo is always a popular weekend for parents and kids alike.

There's also a range of events for older kids to enjoy this spring with family Landrover Forest Adventures at Brodick or Mountain Navigation at Grey Mare's Tail. These exciting adventures are a great way to get out and explore the lesser-seen parts of Trust estates!

Trust gardens
The Trust looks after around 65 gardens and designed landscapes.

Almost every period of Scottish gardens history is represented, from late medieval styles to contemporary creativity in traditional settings. Join the Trust this spring and take audio tours through our gardens or explore the intricate surrounding grounds and woodlands. We have walks, horse riding and Cadbury Easter Egg Trails through several of our properties, and many have playgrounds and cafés for all the family.

The Trust's gardens are brought to life throughout spring in a series of events, lectures, conferences, musical performances and much more, offering many different ways to enjoy and celebrate Scotland's gardens heritage.
