Robert Burns Birthplace Museum is located in the village of Alloway on the outskirts of the town of Ayr. The main ticket and information points are located at Burns Cottage (accessed via Greenfield Avenue) and at the main museum building (in Murdoch's Lone). The two main sites are connected by Poet's Path, a pedestrian walkway.
