Robert Burns Birthplace Museum is much more than a museum. It’s an immersive visitor experience celebrating the life and work of Scotland’s most famous son in the context of his landscape, language, legacy and literature.

Set among 4 hectares of beautiful Ayrshire countryside, the museum includes the world-famous atmospheric Burns Cottage where the poet was born. Nearby are the historic landmarks of Alloway Auld Kirk and Brig o’ Doon, where Burns set some of his greatest works, along with the elegant monument and gardens created in his honour.

Last, but by no means least, is an innovative and exciting museum telling Burns’s story through the world’s most important collection of artefacts relating to Scotland’s bard.
