Pollok House is in Pollok Country Park, in the Southside of Glasgow.
Address

By car: Exit at Junction 1 of the M77. There is a signposted entrance to Pollok Country Park directly opposite the traffic lights at the end of the off ramp.

Entrance to Pollok House is via Dumbreck Rd only. Please note that some route planning and sat nav systems will provide directions to reach Pollok House via Pollokshaws Road; there is no vehicle access from Pollokshaws Road.

By train: Take the train from Glasgow Central to Pollokshaws West (approx. 10 mins). Turn left when leaving the station. The house is approximately a 1 mile walk into the park. Alternatively, a free electric shuttle bus runs from Pollokshaws West station to Pollok House, every 30 minutes.

Planning your visit

Parking for Pollok House is located in the Pollok Country Park Riverside Carpark. This is a Glasgow City Council carpark and parking charges apply.

Charges apply Monday–Sunday, 10am–6pm:

  • £5 for 4 hours
  • £10 for all day

These rates also apply for the Burrell Museum carpark.

Drone footage, filming and photography are not permitted at this property without prior permission and approval. Commercial operators should contact the Trust Filming Manager at filming@nts.org.uk

Accessibility

There are cobbles and a short slope leading from the main car park to the accessible entrance, located in the lower courtyard. Please call 0141 616 6410 to inform staff that you are waiting.
