The work of the Ranger Service involves ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the area in all its natural beauty. We do this by providing information about the area and guidance on responsible access, including patrols. During the summer months Rangers offer a variety of guided walks to suit all abilities. Our full programme of walks can be found on the events page, or call 0844 493 2173 for more information. A Ranger can be ‘booked’ at other times for guided walks subject to availability.
