By bus

Westerbus service Inverness to Poolewe: the Garden is under 1 mile walk from Poolewe along the A832.

By rail
The First Scotrail service from Inverness - Kyle/Thurso/Wick, stops at Achnasheen Station, 35 miles from Inverewe Garden. D&E Coach service Number 35 connects during the season.

By bike
Whilst there is not a National Cycle Route nearby, it is still very easy to cycle to Inverewe Garden. There are bike racks at the property.

By foot
Pinewood Trail and Inverewe Trail: This route will take you through the hillside plantation adjacent to the Garden. With wonderful views and wildlife interest, good footwear is advisable due to rough terrain. 30-45 minute walk, suitable for dogs.

Kernsary Path: This is a spectacular low-level walk along a public right-of-way leading into the upland wilderness of Letterewe Estate or returning by a 7 mile circuit to Poolewe village. Note: the ground is boggy in areas.
