Self-guided trail

During the season when the Mansion is open, the car park toilets are open daily.

There are lovely walks through the woodlands up to the top of the Tarvit Hill, from where you can see as far as the Perthshire hills on a clear day.

We’re developing parts of the gardens into a plant finder’s garden, which reflects the collecting ethos of the Sharp family. Follow the special trail to discover many fascinating and unusual plants along the borders in the north garden.

  • There’s a front door ramp into the house where visitors can access the ground floor and toilets.
  • There are stairs leading to the top floors, with no disabled access.
  • There are gravel paths throughout the grounds.
