There is a gift shop at Gladstone’s Land with a large array of merchandise appealing to most tastes. The merchandise ranges from lightweight souvenirs such as tea towels and jewellery, to larger goods such as bags, picnic sets and wool rugs. There is a selection of toys and books for children. The gift shop also has a large range of honeys, jams & preserves, shortbread, cakes and oatcakes. A selection of books relating to Edinburgh and Scotland are also available. All proceeds from the gift shop help towards conservation work at the property.

There are no toilets available, but public toilets are a 5-minute walk from the building.
There is no tearoom at Gladstone’s Land, but there are plenty of restaurants and cafes on the Royal Mile.
Did you know?
The arches which formed the house's arcade, once a common architectural feature in Edinburgh buildings of the era but now the Royal Mile's only surviving example, were at one point actually inside the building when the shop front (Luckenbooth) was extended and used as a dairy shop in Victorian times.
