Family, group and school visits
For younger visitors we offer a variety of fun activities. Our Activity Guide is packed with information, quizzes and things to discover, and Flashcards which show certain items in each room are especially good for younger (or older) children who prefer to look and find.

Children can dress up in replica Georgian costumes in the Activity Room (and wear them as they explore the house if they like!), as well as handling replica objects, writing with quill pens and colouring in Georgian-themed sheets.

You can also purchase the Wee Guide (for primary age children) to help them learn more about the history of the house and the people who lived and worked there.

The Georgian House

House: 1 Mar to 24 Mar, daily 11-4; 25 Mar to 30 Jun, daily 10-5; 1 Jul to 31 Aug, daily 10-6; 1 Sep to 31 Oct, daily 10-5; 1 Nov to 30 Nov, daily 11-3.

Last admission 30 mins before closing.

Please note: Saturday 6 April and Saturday 20 April - The last admission to the Georgian House will be at 2.30pm as the House is hosting a wedding on both days.
