Group visits
Self-guided tours operate.
Groups are limited to 25. Larger groups will have staggered entrance times.
Limited coach parking is available 75 metres from the Castle, 200 metres from the gardens. Because of limited parking for long vehicles, coaches should book in advance.

Special tours are available by arrangement.

Opening times

Grounds: all year, daily.
Castle, Tearoom and Shop: 29 Mar to 30 Jun, Thur-Mon 11-4; 1 July to 31 Aug, daily 11-4; 1 Sep to 29 Sep, Thur-Mon 11-4.

Please note: The Castle will close at 3pm on 6 April due to a Wedding taking place.

Garden of Historic Roses: 29 Mar to 31 Oct, daily 11-4.15.
