Group visits
Because the fabric of the castle is delicate, we have to manage the property under strict conservation guidelines which require us to limit our visitor numbers. We are happy, however, to welcome groups or to arrange special interest tours of Craigievar, but these are strictly by prior arrangement. We only offer guided tours, in small groups, which normally last about 45 minutes. Your tour can be tailor-made to suit your requirements, including special interest or longer, in-depth tours, which may on occasion incur extra costs.

At busy times it may be necessary to wait for a tour as they can only be taken in small groups.

Special interest groups, such as RSPB or walking groups, may be taken by the ranger service by prior arrangement.

Coach parking is available 150 yards from the visitor reception and shop.
