Hallowe’en is on its way and the National Trust for Scotland’s Castle Fraser near Inverurie is getting all spooky.
Come along to the National Trust for Scotland’s Castle Fraser for an evening tour with a difference.
Mari Clingan, Senior Assistant for Castle Fraser said:
“At Castle Fraser for one night only, ghosts from the castle’s dark past will be awakened to roam the corridors and wreak havoc for those who dare to enter. Only those with a stout heart and nerves of steel should venture through the castle’s doors.”
The Ghost Tours take place on the 27 October with 3 separate time slots. The first tour commences at 18.30, the second at 20.00 and final tour starts at 21.30, all lasting an hour.

These ghost tours are not suitable for anyone under the age of 16.
Castle Fraser will be holding another Hallowe’en event the following evening (28 October) which is sure to scare and excite.
Mari said:
“Come and meet the ghosts from Castle Fraser’s colourful past. Try some spooky crafts in the Dining Room or listen to a story in the Library. Why not have your face painted or get a scary scar in the Great Hall. We also have a quiz for children to get involved with as you explore the haunted castle.”
Tickets for the event cost £5 for adults, £3 for children and concessions and £15 for a family.

Castle Fraser is one of the grandest of the Scottish baronial tower houses.
