From the A849, take the signposted scenic road to Salen (B8035), follow signposts towards Burg and Tiroran House Hotel.
The car park is just beyond Tiroran, on the north shore of Loch Scridain. From there it is a 7-mile walk west.

As well as golden and sea eagles, a number of smaller birds can be seen at Burg, including wheatears among the rocks, yellowhammers in the trees below the cliffs, and stonechats and cuckoos.
