Green Tourism Award - Silver

Your little ones may encounter our resident feline Oscar Wilde, while younger explorers can gallop around the gardens in search of the dog grave and the stone man.

Inside the house, we host regular children’s quizzes with the chance to win a cuddly toy, while tiny tots will enjoy hunting for the ceramic teddy bears scattered around the house.
We’re a regular fixture on the Kirkcudbright Arts & Craft Trail every August, running programmes of live music, dance, arts and craft workshops, competitions and activities for visitors of all ages.

There are also plans to introduce some fun Edwardian-themed events for all ages in the future, so keep an eye on the Events page of the website for more details.
