    Set in peaceful parkland, Brodie Castle is a fine 16th-century tower house and was the home of the late Brodie family until the late 20th century. Enjoy sheltered woodland walks, and stroll by the pond where you can observe the estate’s varied wildlife from the specially constructed hides. Kids will love the adventure playground too.

    Open from dawn until dusk. Free admission with donations welcomed. £2 Parking charge.

    The gardening team will be leading guided walks of the Brodie daffodil collection bred by Ian Brodie, a chieftain in the world of daffodils. Walks will leave from the Stables at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm on both days. £3 per person. There will also be an exhibition inside the stables showing the history of the daffodil and the Brodie collection past and present.

    Join Heartbreak Productions this summer for their adaptation of a much-loved murder-mystery. Bring a picnic, drinks, coolboxes, friends and neighbours! Soak up the evening sunshine.

    The scene is set – A respectable garden party at Lord and Lady Cava’s residence, The Cavary. Respectable, that is until one of the party is found dead, murdered. The garden party is thrown mystery? This original murder-mystery by David Kerby-Kendall will be an interactive play with references to Downton, Agatha Christie, part into disarray, the sardonic Inspector Back arrives to investigate and the twists and turns of a whodunit both puzzle and entertain alongside dangerous amounts of humour. Can you solve the romp, part farce and a whole lot of fun. Come along and figure out if you can decipher ‘whodunit’?! This production is suitable for 12+ Please note the production will go ahead in all but the worst weather conditions so we advise you dress appropriately. Guests are required to provide their own seating.

Stuffed to the turrets with antique furniture, paintings and ceramics, the legacy of generations of Clan Brodie, this 16th-century castle is a slice of Scottish history not to be missed.

Explore the rooms, passageways and towers, all sensitively restored to show what everyday life was like for one of Scotland’s most ancient clans.

There’s plenty to discover outside the castle too. The 71 hectare estate has landscaped gardens, a large pond, a walled garden, a woodland walk, an adventure playground and a nature trail with observation hides for watching wildlife.

Set in peaceful parkland, this fine 16th-century tower house is packed with enough art and antiques to keep connoisseurs happy all day. It contains fine French furniture; English, continental and Chinese porcelain; and a major collection of paintings, including 17th-century Dutch art, 19th-century English watercolours, and early 20th-century works.
