Dogs are welcome but in accordance with the Scottish Outdoor Access Code, must be under control at all times. This means either on a lead or returning immediately to the owner's side on command. This is a sheep farming area.

Rowardennan car park and toilets are run by the National Park Authority. They are not on Trust land but give access to the mountain.
