Cadbury Easter Egg Trail at the Cottage and all around the Heritage Park from 10.00 am to 4 pm.

Saturday 3rd April

Come to the Cottage from 11 am to 3 pm to meet lambs, chickens and quails as well as our favourite heavy horses Pat and Tyde, who will be getting their new shoes at midday.

Sunday 4th April

Bring your children to Burns Cottage to take part in our great Easter Egg Hunt at 12.30, then join us at the Education Pavilion for egg painting, take a wagon ride with Pat and Tyde, and then roll the eggs down the Brig o’ Doon.

Monday 5th April

The event that Alloway has been waiting for .... at last the Towsie Tyke of Alloway Contest 2010! Do you have a shaggy dog? If so, bring your dog to Burns Cottage at 3 pm to take part in our Burns’ inspired dog show. To look your very best, you could join us at the Education Pavilion from midday to 2.00 pm to make a tim’rous beastie bonnet, and why not wear your bonnet on a wagon ride with Pat and Tyde.

Robert Burns’ music by the acclaimed Birnam Quartet. You will be welcomed at the Education Pavilion at Burns’ Cottage with a glass of fine wine, and spend the evening transported by the haunting instrumental arrangements of one of Scotland’s most influential quartets.
