Culzean is a popular choice for weddings and corporate hospitality alike. Adam’s mastery of form in his radical adaptation of this castle, originally dating from 1590 has created a grand, impossibly romantic backdrop for modern events. Set in nearly 600 acres of beautiful countryside with woodland walks, inviting sandy beaches, terraced gardens and charming follies, this is a unique and inspirational setting for entertaining guests. Grand and prestigious or intimate and relaxed, the options at Culzean are endless.

The approach and setting â€" the Arrival: the enchanting approach to the Castle, from the top of the hill with its superb panoramic view over the Firth of Clyde, winds through wooded countryside towards the ruined arch and viaduct, which leads to the front door. Your guests can sip champagne and marvel at the truly spectacular setting, perched on a rocky promontory, overlooking the sea.
The Armoury â€" the Welcome: the Armoury is a unique venue for the Groom and Best Man to host a Drinks’ Reception prior to the Wedding Service, and/or celebrate in style with champagne after the ceremony. The Armoury is also often used for cake cutting and speeches. The Armoury is home to one of the most important collections of arms in existence.

The Round Drawing Room â€" the Wedding Ceremony: the breathtakingly beautiful Round Drawing Room, with views over the sea towards the Isle of Arran, can seat a maximum of 72 guests for a Wedding Ceremony.

Robert Adam’s Oval Staircase â€" the Wedding Ceremony: the magnificent staircase can host a Wedding Service for a maximum 100 guests.

Camellia House â€" the Wedding Ceremony: The Victorian folly is designed from ornate stone and glass and is situated in the gardens of Culzean. The Camellia House can host a romantic Wedding Service for a maximum of 40 guests.

The State Dining Room â€" the Wedding Dinner: This dining room was created by the 3rd Marquis and it has great importance in the history of taste. A dinner for a maximum 72 guests can be held in this elegant State Dining Room.

The Home Farm Restaurant â€" the Wedding Dinner and Reception: The rustic charm of the Home Farm Restaurant is an ideal choice for accommodating a maximum of 100 guests for a Wedding banquet and ceilidh/dance.

Marquees â€" the Wedding Reception: a marquee can provide a spectacular setting for your Wedding Dinner and Reception. Several locations are available within the Country Park, or you can opt to overlook the beautiful Fountain Court with your Marquee attached to the front of Culzean Castle.

Eisenhower Apartment â€" the Intimate Wedding Ceremony:
For the more intimate ceremony the Eisenhower Apartment can be hired for the exclusive use of a small wedding party.

The Eisenhower Apartment was General Eisenhower’s Scottish retreat from 1945 until his death in 1969. He stayed here on several occasions, once as President of the United States of America. The Apartment, comprising six en-suite bedrooms, a drawing room with roaring log fire and an elegant dining room offers stunning views and can accommodate up to twelve guests.

The Apartment dining Room can seat a maximum of 24 guests, at 3 tables of 8, or a maximum of 20 guests at 1 table.
