    Culzean is 12 miles south of Ayr, 4 miles west of Maybole

    By bus
    Stagecoach number 60/360 (Ayr to Girvan via Maidens) stops at the entrance to Culzean Country Park on the A719. There is a one mile downhill walk to the Castle/Visitor Centre from the Country Park entrance.

    By train
    First ScotRail Glasgow/Newcastle - Stranraer/Ireland line stops at Maybole railway station, 4 miles from Culzean Castle. From Maybole Railway Station take the Stagecoach bus number 60/360 (Ayr to Girvan via Maidens), which stops at the entrance to Culzean Country Park on the A719. There is a one mile downhill walk to the Castle/Visitor Centre from the Country Park entrance.

    By bike
    The National Cycle Route 7 passes through Maybole, 4 miles from Culzean Castle. From Maybole, cycle along the B7023 and continue onto the A719 until you reach the entrance of Culzean Country Park. It is one mile from the Country Park entrance to the Castle/Visitor Centre.
