The Palace is not suitable for pushchairs on any of its floors as there are a lot of stairs. However, visitors with young children are welcome to leave pushchairs in the reception area while they look around the building. We ask that visitors with baby back carriers take extreme care when visiting the property as there are turnpike staircases and some narrow doors. The gardens are suitable for pushchairs.

A children’s guide to Falkland Palace is available to purchase from the Reception desk.

We are hoping to extend our activities for children visiting the Palace soon with
‘I-Spy’ and garden activity sheets. Look out for these in the 2007 season!

Baby changing facilities are available at the property toilets which are situated in the Palace gardens close to the shop.

The Palace gardens and grounds are suitable for picnics.

We run a varied programme of events throughout the year, including children’s events.
