    Throughout the estate, in accordance with the Scottish Outdoor Access Code, dogs are welcome, but owners have a responsibility to ensure that they are kept under proper control at all times and that they specifically take account of livestock and other land management activities. In the Lochalsh Woodland Walks (around Lochalsh House) dogs should be kept on the lead at all times and owners are requested to collect any faeces and deposit it in the bin provided at the car park.

    Parking is available at Balmacara Square (c. 15 spaces) within 100 m of visitor centre. Limited disabled parking spaces are available immediately outside the building. Parking for the Lochalsh Woodland Walks is located just off the A87 road. Disabled parking is permitted outside Lochalsh House and visitors are requested to inform staff at the office for safety purposes.
