The property covers the period from the 17th century until the present day and contains period furniture and other objects of interest. A story can be told about almost every item in the lower rooms. Upstairs there is also period furniture; this room has a special ambience and atmosphere which is experienced by most visitors upon entering. Visitors can find themselves being spirited back in time and very often being caught up in subjects of debate in a manner similar to Burns and his young friends. A visit to this property is a must for any Burns enthusiast.
