Forres Accordion and Fiddle Club Players entertain with a selection of their favourite music. Pat Fraser of Aberlour delivers her own choice of amusing monologues. Afternoon teas will be served in marquee in castle grounds. Home bakes from the castle kitchens.

An illustrated talk by Susan Bennett on the life and times of Mary Sleigh, wife of Alexander, 19th Brodie of Brodie, with songs and music by Irene Watt.
Mary Sleigh, subject of the famous Scots song “Mally Lee”, was celebrated as an Edinburgh beauty before her marriage to Alexander Brodie.
As an MP much of his time was spent away from the family estate. Mary was responsible for much of the 18th century landscaping improvements to the gardens and estate and introduced various innovations such as flax growing.
Susan tells the story of her life and times while Irene sings “Mally Lee” and other period songs.

Readings from the best-loved sonnets and speeches of William Shakespeare, given by Viv Hardy, Eric Tessier-Lavigne and James Ross to the accompaniment of lute, harp and spinet alternating with music from the bard's lifetime for full consort played on authentic instruments by the Highland Consort, Coronach.
