Visitors will see among the exhibits Charles Poulsen’s lead clad tree limbs, Sam Wade’s kinetic structures in metal and coloured Perspex and new work by Jane Gaze referencing the activities in Loch Ewe during World War 2.
The group is pleased to have Ettie Spencer as their guest artist for the exhibition, her work “disPlaced” has particular resonance, she uses immigrant plant species as a metaphor for human displacement in contemporary society, and it has previously been exhibited in the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh. Her current project “Tobacco House” will be shown during this years Edinburgh Festival.
