National Museum of Rural Life Scotland

The National Country Life Collections are housed in an award winning exhibition building. This is the story of the Scottish countryside and its evolution.
There's an historic farmhouse which was occupied by the Reid family since the 1500s. The farm is managed to represent the 1950s, when the horse was giving way to the tractor.
There are animals (see the cows being milked!), crops, tractor rides, special events, farmland walks, spectacular views and much more.
A fantastic experience for the whole family.
