School visits are welcome by appointment. Please contact the property directly on 0844 493 2142, or the Area Manager on 0844 493 2144. The ‘Pirates’ Workshop’ in the garden can be hired for small play or craft groups.
The ‘Peter Pan Experience’ in the house is a favourite with children of all ages, and offers the opportunity to dress up and become Peter or Wendy. Story telling and readings can also be arranged.
J M Barrie's extensive bibliography attracts interest from all age groups, as does the nature of the house itself for social history. Talks and tours can be arranged.
Schools and colleges with Educational Membership gain entry to all National Trust for Scotland properties for free; otherwise, there is a charge of £2 per pupil or concession rates for older students.
