Gladstone's Land

Primary school parties (p3-7) can book a visit to Gladstone’s Land by phoning 0131 226 5856. Tours last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Children are given an introduction to 17th century Edinburgh in our education room. The children get into 17th century costume over their own clothes. Our education guides provide a tour of the house that lasts approximately 45 minutes. A CD ROM with pre-visit information and post-visit worksheets are mailed to the teacher prior to the visit. Unfortunately, we do not have an area where lunches can be eaten.
