There is a small shop in the Castle, offering a range of household goods, toiletries, food, confectionery, souvenirs, books, the official guidebook, postcards, and pictures/prints of the castle.

Dogs are welcome, but must be kept under close supervision and control, especially in the immediate vicinity of the Castle. Dog owners are asked particularly to be mindful of livestock in the fields, small children, the elderly and infirm, and the two resident cats.

Assistance dogs are welcome in the Castle.

The car park is 150 yards from the Castle and shop.
