    Brodick Castle is located on the Isle of Arran

    Caledonian Macbrayne also runs a ferry service from Claonaig to Lochranza at the north end of the isle.

    By bike
    The National Cycle Route 75 takes you to Ardrossan. From Ardrossan take the Caledonian Macbrayne ferry to Brodick. The National Cycle Route 73 passes next to Brodick Castle. Cyclists must note that the section along the Fisherman’s Walk (the traffic free section) is not suitable for bikes. An alternative route is available along the A841.
