    A selection of guided walks are advertised throughout the spring to autumn period. Walks can be catered for by the ranger service on request. As a rough guide, walks take the following lengths of time:
    Full hill walk – 6hrs to 8 hrs
    ½ day hill walk – 3hrs to 4 hrs
    Ardess Hidden History Trail – 1.5hrs

    Coach access is only possible to Balmaha, 7 miles south of the property. Beyond Balmaha coaches are not permitted due to narrow road and sharp bends. Group visits are best done by minibus transport.
