Dennis and Gnasher strike again at Trust properties
21/06/2010
Dennis the Menace and his faithful hound Gnasher are taking up residence at the National Trust for Scotland’s properties this autumn, offering fun and hi-jinks for visiting families.
Thirty one of the conservation charity’s properties across Scotland are taking part in the Gnashional Treasure Hunt, where young visitors have to spot the hiding Gnashers on site. Visitors who find the mischevious animal can collect pawprint stamps and swap them for prizes.
To join in with the fun, families have to be members of the National Trust for Scotland.
National Trust for Scotland’s Marketing Manager, Ian Gardner said:
“We’re delighted to be sharing our extensive range of Trust properties with the iconic figures of Dennis the Menace and Gnasher again this year.
“Whether your kids like exploring, getting close to bugs and beasties, or hearing all the gory details of battles won and lost – then this is the perfect day out for them.
“Check out the Trust’s properties in your area and bring them along during the holidays – and they can put their hound-dog skills to the test and win prizes for their efforts at the same time!”
The Gnashional Treasure Hunt runs at participating properties from 12 June until 31 October and is only available to new or existing members of the National Trust for Scotland.
